About jasper
Jasper is a digital platform that helps people navigate life during cancer, combining guidance, planning tools, and connection into a single experience. It supports patients through treatment while keeping them connected to the people and resources around them.
My role
As UX lead, I owned the experience across a four-week engagement, translating product requirements into high-fidelity solutions from the outset. Working within an established design system enabled fast iteration and clear alignment on direction.
The problem landscape
For many patients, the cancer journey was marked by isolation, with few opportunities to connect with others going through similar experiences. While Jasper provided structure and support, it lacked a sense of warmth and community.
MY APPROACH
Focus centered on how patients seek connection across their care journey, from broader community support to close personal relationships. The goal was to reduce the burden of staying connected, creating more natural, low-effort ways to engage.
Within a short engagement, I defined core features to support these moments, translating them directly into high-fidelity designs. The work emphasized clear, repeatable patterns, allowing the team to quickly extend and scale the experience beyond the initial scope.
